We’ve teamed up with the UK’s number one Boxing for fitness training provider to bring you a range of high intensity, low impact, full body workouts for people that want to have health and fitness as their main goal or for students that want to develop additional skills to support their training.     

 

All of our training programmes are structured into beginner, intermediate and advanced levels and are aimed at developing skill-related components of fitness such as speed, power, reaction time, agility, balance and co-ordination.

FUNDAMENTAL TRAINING 

 

The 12-week fundamentals course and training programme introduces basic boxing and fitness techniques to target a high intensity, full body cardio workout. On the course, you’ll learn how to throw correct techniques, utilise simple boxing combinations and get to grips with basic bodyweight, aerobic and anaerobic exercises.    

 

You’ll learn: 

 

  • Correct punching and pad holding techniques for the Jab, Cross and Uppercuts 

  • Beginner Boxing combinations 

  • Boxing based speed and power drills that target the aerobic and anaerobic systems 

  • Bodyweight HIIT training to supplement the workouts 

 

ADVANCED TRAINING 

 

The advanced training programme will take your Boxing skills to another level as the workouts include defensive movements such as the ‘Slip’, ‘Duck’ and ‘Weave’ and advanced punching techniques such as the ‘Hook’ and the ‘Body Shot’. You will also train at a higher level of intensity as the workouts incorporate integrated training concepts such as plyometric training. 

 

  • Advanced Boxing combinations and pad holding techniques for the Hook and the Body Shot

  • Defensive techniques such as the Slip, Duck and Weave  

  • Plyometric training

  • Bodyweight HIIT training to supplement workouts   

 

GETTING STARTED 

To get your Boxing for fitness training started, all clients are required to take part in a health screening induction where you will be guided through basic techniques that assist in getting the most out of your workouts.

Hatton Boxing for Fitness was developed in 2012 by four-time world Boxing legend, Ricky Hatton who wanted to bring all the elements of Boxing into a full body, hard-hitting workout. His workouts concepts are a fun way of exercises within a group fitness or personal training setting and DOES NOT INVOLVE ANY CONTACT OR SPARRING, making it safe for everyone.
